A Voice Built on 35 Years of Connection

For more than 35 years, a microphone has been one of the most familiar tools in my life. Radio studios, television sets, podcast rooms, concert stages, corporate events and even the center of a boxing ring have all taught me the same lesson: people respond to personality, authenticity and genuine human connection.

My broadcasting career began while I was still in high school. Since then, I've accumulated nearly 25 years of professional radio experience, including ten years on the air at KBEQ Q104 in Kansas City. Today, I voice track nights six days a week for 100.7 KMZU in Carrollton, Missouri, creating a personality-driven Country show that sounds present, relevant and connected to the people listening.

Radio is only part of the story. For more than a decade, I have served as an owner, executive producer and co-host of Heartland Waterfowl, helping build an outdoor media brand with national television distribution. That experience has taken me from developing sponsorships and producing episodes to interviewing guests, creating branded content and connecting passionate audiences with the companies that serve them.

Through Papa Ron Radio, I bring those experiences together to help radio stations, businesses, podcasters and event organizers communicate with more personality and purpose. My services include remote radio voice tracking, commercial voice-over, audio and video production, podcast consulting and editing, and professional event emcee and ring-announcing services.

I don't believe good communication is simply about having a polished voice or reading the words correctly. It is about understanding the audience, finding the story and delivering the message in a way that feels natural. Personality should support the message, not overpower it. Preparation matters. Follow-through matters. And whether I'm speaking to one person through a pair of headphones or thousands of people at a live event, I never forget that someone may be hearing me for the first time.
